Guerlain introduces innovation to its KissKiss collection – a new generation of lipsticks that combine skincare-inspired ingredients, long-lasting wear and a refillable design.
Guerlain’s KissKiss is entering a new chapter. After more than two decades of reinvention, the iconic lip product is once again evolving – this time into a longwear lipstick that aims to combine comfort, colour and performance in a single formula.
Originally introduced as a lip balm before becoming a signature lipstick, the KissKiss line expanded in 2022 with KissKiss Bee Glow, a tinted balm inspired by ingredients sourced from the hive. Honey and propolis became key ingredients in a formula that hydrates, smooths and softens lips while delivering shine and colour.
The collection moves further with what the brand describes as its first kiss-proof honey lipstick. The updated formula promises up to 24 hours of wear while maintaining a lightweight feel. At the centre of this development is a blend of naturally derived ingredients and polymer technology designed to improve adherence and reduce transfer without compromising comfort.
Honey helps maintain hydration, while beeswax contributes to texture and glide. Royal jelly supports fuller lip appearance by stimulating hyaluronic acid production and propolis extract is included for its smoothing properties. Two added polymers help the lipstick fuse with the lips and extend wear throughout the day.
The new formula is available in 20 ultra-pigmented shades with a blurred matte finish, offering colours intended to suit different skin tones and moods. The packaging has also been redesigned. Slimmer and refillable, the new case reflects a more sustainable and long-lasting approach to beauty design.
